Four、Disney+Differences between different countries
Friends who want to register an account, please note that Disney+ is slightly different from Netflix.
When registering for Netflix, you can first register an account, then change your IP address, and then subscribe;
When registering for Disney+, the IP location is the country where the account is located, so be sure to set the IP before registering.
Depending on the country, Disney+ accounts can be divided into three major categories:
- International Edition
Including the United States, Canada, some European countries and Singapore, the account can be used universally. Depending on the IP, the copyrighted content of different countries is displayed.
- HotStar version
Including India, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines, the accounts are operated independently and can only be viewed in these countries.
- Japanese version
It is said to be operated in cooperation with NTT Docomo and is not compatible with the international version. It is recommended that friends living in Japan register.
Therefore, when registering an account, try to choose the international version of country registration. As for which country to choose, I would like to say that whichever node is faster will be your choice. Most people choose between the United States and Singapore. Since Singapore has more Star channels than the United States, it has more copyrighted dramas, so it is more cost-effective.
5. Mainland users can watch Disney directly+?
Not currently.
