Despite the collapse of the Egyptian pound, Apple, Google and other accounts in Turkey still have value. In order to see if the registration process for Apple ID in Turkey has changed, I re-registered an account. The whole process took about 15 minutes, of which more than two minutes were wasted on Apple's official website to find the registration entrance. The required tools are also very simple:
- Türkiye IP
This is not necessarily necessary, because the soft router crashed when I registered. During this period, I took the opportunity to try many ways to access the Internet, but the network was always unstable. To be on the safe side, I used a Turkish VPN after the first registration failed.
- Chinese Mobile Number
There are no specific requirements, multiple Apple IDs can be reused
- Email address that has not been registered with Apple ID
- Türkiye Address
I usually look for it on Google Maps, or I can use the address generator
There is a tutorial on how to buy a regular Turkish gift card at the end of the article, so don’t worry about not being able to pay for it. Here is the registration process:
1. Registration website
Select "Türkiye" as your country
2. Change the Turkish IP
Initially I didn’t use a Turkish IP, but when I submitted the registration, the following pop-up window appeared.
After changing to a Turkish IP, you can receive the email verification code:
Next is to receive the mobile verification code:
This means that the registration is successful.
3. Add payment method
In order to download the App normally, you need to add the billing address in the payment method
Select "None" as the payment method and fill in the address from the Google region or address generator.
4. Mobile login and download process
To verify whether the app can be downloaded normally, log in to the newly registered account in the App Store.
(1) Mobile phone verification is required for the first login
(2) When you download the app for the first time, you will see the following prompt:
(3) Check "agree to terms and conditions" and click "next"
(4) Enter "Payment Method" again and click "Next"
(5) This completes the account confirmation.
(6) Then you can download the app normally.
5. Other matters needing attention
Because I already have a Turkish account, I did not bind the gift card to do the paid download test.
It is said that newly registered accounts cannot be bound to gift cards immediately, so friends who need it can first buy 25 lira or 50 lira gift cards, and then purchase larger gift cards after they can be bound normally.
In addition, you can also consider registering a US account first, and then changing the country to Türkiye to save the country in a roundabout way.

This shouldn't happen, as it's usually an IP quality issue.

Then I logged into Apple official website on PC with Apple ID, changed the country to Turkey, and set the language to English. Finally, I logged into Apple ID on iPhone, and it automatically switched to Turkey.
