1. School Selection

Generally speaking, famous colleges have stricter review but more alumni, while ordinary colleges have simpler review but fewer famous alumni. So, you can only try one by one.
The key words to search for the school are: alumni mail. It is best to search in English on Google.
Since both schools I applied to used emails to communicate, the administrators found it unusual to avoid flooding the information, so I will not make it public. Careful friends can also get a glimpse of the clues from the screenshots.
2. Alumni Search
In some schools, you only need to provide the names of other alumni to apply for alumni status, but this is as rare as a giant panda. Most schools require you to provide your student ID number. More about student ID numbers later.
Search the alumni list mainly byWikipedia.However, most colleges and universities may not have many famous people, and the introduction is also very simple. At this time, you can either change schools. Or try LinkedIn, or the personal introduction of the person's organization. It is likely that you can find his/her school resume, such as university major, graduation time, etc.
There are also some tips for finding people. Try to find older people, such as those in their 50s and 60s. These people haven't registered yet, and they are unlikely to register in the future. In addition, try to ignore Chinese people. These people always like to register, and I don't know why.
3. Identity verification (1)

5. Apply for an alumni.edu email address
The backends of American university alumni organizations are all very similar, and I seriously suspect that they all use the same service provider.
Click edit, fill in your user name, and you will receive an activation email.
Of course, I also encountered a weird system. It was the one in the screenshot. After opening the editor, it looked like this. You couldn’t fill in the gray box with text… Finally, I searched for alumni email on the website and found another application entrance.
