1. Appearance and interface
Compared with the previous generation M2 version, the M4 version of Mac mini is a little smaller and thicker.
The two USB-A ports have been cancelled, and two USB-C (3.0) and one Thunderbolt 4 have been added. The HDMI port has also become a full-powered 2.1.
As far as I am concerned, the size doesn't matter much, since it doesn't take up much space on the desk.
But the changes in the interface did give me a headache.
After removing the two USB-A ports, I have to use an expansion dock for my 4T mechanical hard drive.

After switching from M2 to M4
My first feeling is that the system is much smoother to use
